AffiniPay Announces New CEO, Tom West

AffiniPay, the leading provider of payments technology for professional services, is excited to announce its new leadership structure in an effort to continue to accelerate the company's growth. Effective June 1, Founder and CEO Amy Porter has moved into a new role as executive chairman of the AffiniPay board of directors. Tom West will take over as CEO with full confidence that he will continue to advance the financial tech company's mission to transform the way professionals get paid.

Porter founded AffiniPay in 2005 and—backed by a growing team of experts—built a proprietary payment system that boasts high customer satisfaction and exceeds all standard security requirements. The company’s portfolio includes several successful online payment solutions tailored to specific industries: LawPay, CPACharge, and AffiniPay for Associations. AffiniPay is headquartered in Austin and has more than 150,000 users and a staff of 160 and counting.

In her new position, Porter will support the leadership of the CEO, helping define and uphold the purpose and values of the company, while also providing strategic guidance and governance of the board. There will be no change in services or support to any users of any AffiniPay solutions.

West is a career growth business leader, having previously held leadership positions at Dell, Bain & Company, and PNC as well as served as CEO and President at JC Whitney and Springbox. Tom has been leading expansion efforts at AffiniPay for almost a year. In his time with the organization, AffiniPay has grown by an astounding 40 percent. As CEO, he will run the company and lead all strategic, operating, and organizational processes.
